Routine x-rays after the osteosynthesis of distal radius and ankle fractures – a prospective randomized controlled trial on the necessity of routine imaging
CONCLUSION: In this study, routine postoperative radiographs after osteosynthesis of distal radius and ankle fractures did not improve patient care when standardized intraoperative radiographs were obtained.
