In lithography-based ceramic manufacturing, a green body is built up layer by layer from a ceramic powder-monomer suspension using CAD data. This is then thermally treated up to 1600 °C. The result is products with smooth and shiny surfaces. The result is products with smooth and shiny surfaces that are acid- and heat-resistant, food-safe and biocompatible. Complicated details such as internal threads and surface modifications can be implemented directly in the process.
